I wanted to introduce a new association in the grooming industry to you. The BIGA stands for British Isles Grooming Association and is designed for the industry by the industry. It aims to raise standards and awareness in the grooming industry and promote and follow the core values.

It promises to actively educate the public about Pet Grooming, which will be a great asset for groomers.

There are lots of benefits for groomers including a members only ‘support hub’ on the website and help with improving business and strategies.

There is a low membership cost of £60 and they share your company logo, which helps with advertising.

There will be annual conferences and a central diary of events. The website will contain lots of current industry news and will give groomers an industry voice so that they can be heard.

There is also a link on the website for the general public to find a BIGA groomer.
