Guillotine Nail Clipper

Description

Some people find the Guillotine Nail Clipper easier to use than the conventional clipper.  Gently place the very tip of the nail through the hole and operate to cut.  Please ensure that more than the tip of the nail does not ‘slip’ through the hole.

Carefully cut off just the tip of the nail.  On white nails you should be able to see the blood vessel or ‘quick’ that will just stop short of the end of the nail.  Please ensure to cut well below this because if you cut through this vessel the nail will bleed.   **Please see the WildWash Video on Safe Nail Cutting.

Black nails – Carefully cut off just the very tip of the nail. When you see a tiny black dot in the middle of the cross section of the nail, STOP!  This is the beginning of the ‘quick’ the blood vessel that goes through the nail and if you cut any shorter, the nail will bleed.   **Please see the WildWash Video on Safe Nail Cutting.
